7:30-9:30pm: July 18th and 20th Waconia High School Gym 

7:00-8:30am: July 25th and 27th Lakeview Elementary School

9:00-11:00am: July 31st Waconia High School Gym

It is our pleasure to announce that Taylor Soine has been selected as the new Waconia High School Head Volleyball Coach. We are thrilled to have hired an individual with Ms Soine's playing experience, demonstrated leadership skills and passion to work with our student athletes and lead our Volleyball program!

Taylor has always had a passion for the sport of volleyball from an early age. She started playing at the age of 8 and participated on what Taylor described as some amazing teams! These amazing teams advanced to Junior Olympic AAU National Championships in four straight years beginning with 15's where they secured two runner up titles and two National Championship titles in the 15 & 17 Open Divisions. 

After graduation from Chanhassen High School, Taylor earned a roster position on the Concordia St. Paul collegiate volleyball team. During her 4 years at Concordia, she was an essential member of the back to back 2017 & 2018 National Championship teams! Taylor graduated with a K-6 Elementary Education Degree and teaching license and is currently a 4th grade teacher at Breakaway Academy in Eden Prairie. 

Taylor's love for the sport has fed her desire to give back and become a coach. Within the last five years Taylor has served in the role of a MSHSL Head Coach at Jordan High School and a Head Coach in the J.O. Vital Volleyball Club program. Taylor shares this in regards to coaching, "...I love every minute of it. Coaching is about seeing the progress and creating a relationship with your players so that they can trust you and you can trust them. I remember all of my coaches and still keep in contact with most of them. I am so excited to be a part of the Waconia community, I can’t wait for us to get started! Go Wildcats!!"

Coach Soine will hold a meet and greet and summer workout information meeting within the next few weeks, so all interested high school volleyball student athletes should watch for more information to come!
